My career spans over three decades of delivering high-quality technical solutions and leading cross-functional teams to achieve business-critical objectives across Europe and beyond. During my role as Head of QA at Caldero/Skyworth, I lead quality assurance initiatives across Europe and the UK, implementing advanced testing strategies and optimising QA processes using tools like Jira, Azure and Confluence. My leadership has fostered a culture of quality and continuous improvement, enabling the successful deployment of high-performing software products. I have also extended my expertise to provide release management and technical support to Tier 1 and B2B customers, ensuring seamless product delivery and customer satisfaction. Previously, at Liberty Global, I delivered complex digital transformation projects, including a £4B Cable Modem Termination Systems upgrade and the integration of entertainment products across 12 European countries. By aligning stakeholder goals, managing resources effectively, and mitigating risks, I consistently ensured on-time and within-budget project completion. My technical leadership extended to designing Video Headend Architectures, integrating VOD and OTT functionalities, and overseeing broadband migrations and re-segmentations, all while maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards. Over my 24 years at Virgin Media, I was recruited to lead the development and integration of the first Digital headend, where I spent 16 years working with cutting-edge technology. Throughout this time, I played a key role in numerous transformation projects, including digital disaster recovery, IP media delivery, video on demand, OTT, and streaming services. My experience helped drive my progression into project management and delivery, allowing me to apply my expertise across various IT domains. During my tenure, I had the privilege of working on everything from customer CPE to satellite acquisition, which gave me a comprehensive understanding of end-to-end architecture within a media platform. What sets me apart is my ability to bridge technical expertise with strategic vision, whether mentoring engineering teams, streamlining operational processes, or driving innovations in media and broadband services.
