About Matthew Wanner

Matthew is a technology leader with expertise in machine learning and a passion for building products that bridge the gap between cutting edge data science and intuitive UX design to enable all people with access to the power of artificial intelligence. Having led a wide spectrum of data science and analytics teams during his career, he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to building both AI products and product teams. Furthermore, his experiences at both a successfully exited start-up and a large enterprise have given him the opportunity to work closely with diverse groups of legal and technical professionals where he has formed a unique perspective on how to best build and equip teams for highly effective AI product development. Matt’s educational background includes both engineering and business, and his professional experience as both a product manager and a data scientist have given him the opportunity to build technical and soft skills across the domains of product design, product marketing, and machine learning. Using a combination of his passion for problem solving, experience harnessing artificial intelligence, and domain knowledge garnered by interacting closely with subject matter experts, he aims to provide effective customer-centric solutions to the many industry problems he is presented. When not talking awkwardly in third person about himself, Matt enjoys climbing tall things (preferably with rope!), playing percussive Rachmaninoff pieces on the piano, traveling, mentoring youth, and getting outside as much as possible.
