About Matthew Ward

I am an incentives lawyer and a specialist in the legal, technical and governance aspects impacting equity (or cash) incentive plan design, drafting and operation. I work closely with my remuneration adviser colleagues to provide a fully integrated service offering from data, analytics, investor relations and remuneration advisory through to implementation, operational guidance and communication. My objective is to help clients navigate all stages of an incentive award’s life cycle. I am qualified as a solicitor, having trained at Lewis Silkin, before joining Aon in 2003 where I was a Partner and led its London based Incentives Legal Team prior to joining FIT Remuneration Consultants LLP in September 2020, the UK’s largest independent executive remuneration consultancy.
