About Matthias Hien

Ability to work under pressure, agility, creativity and teamwork are one of my special strength which I was able to show during my responsible functions at General Electrics, Osram and P&G. Several publications and patents published in Europe and the US show that I don’t follow a fixed thinking strategy and I always try to create something new. Due to my previous work placements both at universities and at industry I am used to work in small groups and I am used to solve complex tasks within a short time. Based on my experiences I am able to incorporate new research topics quickly where I am seeking to capture this topic in detail and comprehensive. I am a team player and always looking for mentors as well as friends that help me to quickly find my footpath in the workplace. However the contacts are not restricted to working colleagues, I am also seeking help from skilled and knowledged people outside my workplace. This helped me creating a very good network of people in academia and in different companies worldwide. During my free time I like to spend some time with friends and family and I also like to do some sport.
