About Matthias Weber

As an Engineering Consultant with a strong background in recycling, manufacturing solutions, vacuum induction melting and digital image processing, I specialise in driving innovation within these fields. My expertise encompasses project management, manufacturing scale-up, process optimisation, and advanced production technologies. I am particularly passionate about integrating cutting-edge solutions for magnet alloy recycling, amorphous metal alloys, and manufacturing process improvements, with a strong focus on sustainability and efficiency. Over the past six years, I have been instrumental in various high-impact projects. At Klumpen GmbH, I have provided consultancy on enhancing manufacturing processes, scaling-up new product manufacturing and implementing state-of-the-art technologies. Previously, I led the setup of Europe's first NdFeB magnet recycling plant at Heraeus Remloy and managed the industrialisation of amorphous metal alloys at Heraeus AMLOY Technologies. My career began with hands-on roles at Continental and R&S Aufzugbau GmbH, where I developed my skills in system testing, mechanical design, and project engineering. My work is driven by a deep commitment to advancing technological solutions that promote both operational excellence and environmental sustainability. I am dedicated to creating innovations that not only optimise processes but also contribute positively to the environment.
