About Matthieu Binder

Energy and Powertains Engineer (IFP School) and Welding Engineer IWE (ESSA) Strong skills in automotive combustion engine especially in engine calibration, tests/validation, instrumentation and lab tests equipment, I acquired more recently various knowledge in the welding field. I have 12 years experience in automotive powertrains in which 10 as engine dyno test engineer. Passionate by cars and motorbikes, I went in this way in order to participate in the effiency improvement and the polluant reduction. I started to work on spark-ignition combustion and later on high efficiency engines study. Then I switched into engine testbeds field at Delphi Luxembourg, I liked the great diversity of this job. I realized later another point important to me : the multicultural environment. I worked with colleagues from different nationalities and found it really enriching. I went back to school to improve my skills in metallurgy and welding. In my spare time, I am cycling and spend some times doing DIY : car/motorbike/bicycle mechanics, TIG welding and craft beer brewing I believe in learning-by-doing and DIY is awesome for that.
