About Matthieu Guichard

Since 2008 when he started working in the engineering company EgisRail, Matthieu Guichard has contributed to a number of LRT projects in combined services assignments. He has acquired substantial experience in clash detection and interface management between LRT interface/system, urban realm and utilities networks, traffics diversion and phasing and site installation plans along with a strong knowledge of Tramway construction process From 2008 to 2014 he worked as a cad technician focus on the utilities coordination and general clash detection. In 2014, Matthieu joined the Grand Paris Express metro project as BIM modeler, where he learned new skills and took part in 3D modelling of 2 metro stations with REVIT. In June 2016, he moved to Jerusalem for the LRT extensions as a BIM manager, where he was in charge of the clash detection team, and the management of the Common Data Environment (Mezzoteam) In 2018, He joined the LRT project in Birmingham (UK) as a BIM coordinator, where he was in charge of the clash detection and the coordination of all the disciplines for 3D modelling. He worked closely with the System team, to develop new asset management system on the GIS, and the architects to find new innovative ways to models tramway infrastructures in 3D. Matthieu is highly proficient with Autocad,(he programmed an in-house tool for 2D clash detection.). He also had extensive use of REVIT, NavisWorks, Sketch Up, BIMSync, Solibri, Tekla. along with general knowledge of Civil3D, 3DSMax, photoshop, Bentley rail track and can code in VBA/ python. He Speaks French, English, and can communicate in Japanese
