About Matthieu Lebard

After graduating from Grenoble Management School in 2017 with a specialization in advisory and a thesis on the impact of Blockchain on banking organizations, I joined EY in September 2017 in the Challenge program. This highly selective programme offers young employees a diversified career over two years: first to understand the job of auditor through two six-month audit rotations, then to discover two other professions during six-month periods as well.As part of my assignments at EY, I intervened in the statutory and consolidated audit of French and international companies in different sectors (as shown below).During my first rotation, within the Advisory department I worked for the Société du Grand Paris as well as for Sodetrel (an EDF subsidiary responsible for the development of a network of electrical terminals); while becoming familiar with the financing tools of the European Union. Then in the FAAS department, I worked at Consolis on the application of IFRS 16 and took part in a Transaction Services mission in spirits. I also worked on a US GAAP / French GAAP conversion job for Ivy Group, a newly acquired subsidiary of a Houston based chemicals firm. Finally, I was on the team handling the carveout of TechnipPMC. I am currently the senior consultant on the team reviewing the consolidated financial statements of Schneider Electric (CAC 40).
