Experienced environmental sustainability professional with over 10 years of expertise in nature-based solutions, ecosystem restoration, and carbon offset projects. Currently serving as Nature and Biodiversity Value Chain Manager at Pirelli, I lead the integration of biodiversity into business strategy and operations, with a strong focus on developing and implementing Biodiversity Action Plans (BAPs) across key production sites globally. My role involves aligning Pirelli’s activities with international biodiversity frameworks and driving the company’s commitments to halt nature loss and enhance ecosystem resilience. Previously at Eni, I served as a Nature-Based Carbon Offset Expert and Forestry Expert, managing carbon offset projects — including REDD+ and restoration initiatives — under Voluntary Certification Schemes such as VCS, Verra, and Gold Standard. These projects were designed to deliver tangible climate, biodiversity, and socio-economic co-benefits. In addition, I’ve collaborated with international organizations such as the Union for the Mediterranean and the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD), contributing to regional initiatives on drought management, land restoration, and sustainable agriculture across the Mediterranean and Latin America. Multilingual and deeply committed to tackling the twin crises of climate change and biodiversity loss, I strive to advance solutions that generate measurable environmental impact and support the transition toward nature-positive economies.
