About Matty Oaks

As an educator and education coordinator at Transparent z.s, I work with a team of passionate professionals who aim to promote transparency, democracy, and civic engagement in the Czech Republic and beyond. I have been working in this role for over a year, and I am also pursuing a degree in Pedagogická fakulta at Univerzity Karlovy, where I learn about the theory and practice of education, pedagogy, and curriculum development. I have previous experience as an educator at Transparent z.s, where I designed and delivered educational programs and workshops on topics such as media literacy, critical thinking, and anti-corruption. I have developed skills in project management, communication, facilitation, and evaluation, and I enjoy collaborating with diverse stakeholders, such as schools, NGOs, media, and public institutions. My core competencies include creativity, adaptability, and problem-solving, and I am always eager to learn new things and improve my professional development. My mission is to empower learners of all ages and backgrounds to become informed, active, and responsible citizens who can contribute to positive social change.
