About Maude Bouchard

I’ve been interested in psychology forever and furthered my scientific knowledge of sleep for the last 15 years. I did my undergrad and graduate study at University of Montreal and became a neuropsychologist in April 2020. During my PhD, I won the Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarship, which promotes leadership skills and community involvement. While it does look good on a resume, this recognition meant much more for me: it made me believe in my capacities as a leader and solidified my career path. I will be forever grateful for the financial support, as it helped me concentrate on my PhD and teaching endeavour. While completing my PhD thesis and teaching as an adjunct assistant professor at the City College of New York, I was approached to work with HALEO Clinic. HALEO is an innovative company on a mission to help organizations and individuals achieve better sleep with sleep programs that are rooted in science. I started off as a clinical lead for the US and international markets then naturally transitioned to the Director of Research and Development role. In a nutshell, I try to be a visionary, to see gaps in the market and target the next population that we can help. I like specific colours on a painting, a combination of rich fabrics, the perfect light, or even a moment completely anchored in the present, having insightful conversations.
