Background photo: a closeup of an elephant calf that I captured at the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust. I am Kenyan, born and raised, with international work experience in Switzerland and Spain. Immediately after my undergraduate degree at Strathmore University, I was fortunate to join the diverse account management team at Wunderman Thompson (Kenya). During my 3 years at one of the world's leading ad agencies, I managed brands in banking, beverage, hospitality and telecommunications. Some of them include I&M Bank, EABL/Diageo, Del Monte and Nokia. My career focus then shifted to directly supporting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which led me to pursue my master's degree in Spain. After completing my master's I worked with organisations that support wildlife conservation, access to healthcare and equal opportunities for Kenyan youth, respectively. My skillset includes strategic storytelling, writing, photography, videography, social media management, content development, stakeholder communications, public relations and negotiation. One of my greatest hobbies and passions is telling stories through photography. I believe that the most compelling stories are told through pictures I am motivated by the belief that if you have a talent, use it for the greater good.
