My journey began in the credit union world, where I discovered my passion for helping others. What started as a role overseeing the teller line and deposit products quickly expanded as I identified opportunities to make a broader impact. I soon became the sole member of our newly minted human resources team. Embracing this transition allowed me to combine my problem-solving skills with my dedication to supporting others. I'm often described as an out-of-the-box thinker, someone who relishes finding creative solutions where traditional approaches fall short. I inherited this mindset from my mom, who taught me that there's always a way forward, even when the path isn't immediately clear. I take pride in being the person to blaze a trail, approaching each challenge with unwavering optimism and determination.I bring this same curious and determined mindset to recruiting. When reviewing resumes, I encourage our team to read between the lines and take the time to learn more. Everything isn’t always neatly spelled out in the black and white of a printed page, getting to know candidates requires investigation and interpretation. I’ve met many people who are quiet and reserved at first and soon blossom into indispensable team members. I appreciate nuance, seek to identify potential, and give voice to others whenever possible.I'm fortunate to be part of a team that shares my values while bringing their own unique strengths and perspective. We challenge each other to grow while maintaining a spirit of fun and camaraderie (Our annual April Fool's Day planning sessions are absolutely legendary). This dynamism keeps things interesting and reinforces our commitment to showing up for each other.One of my greatest joys in life is enjoying the outdoors. Living in Montana allows me to frequently explore the natural world.
