I am beginning my career as a nurse practitioner, seeking an entry-level position. Utilizing my recent clinical training, I seek to provide care in a supportive environment in which I can actively contribute to a healthcare team and develop advanced practice skills. I have 12 years of experience as a registered nurse, in mother-baby, urgent care, inpatient gynecology, and most recently medical-surgical. Successes: Working on a committee, I reworked patient-facing forms for increased clarity and readability. I precepted nursing leadership students from local universities. I received the Daisy Award- recommended by a patient as having provided an exceptional care experience. I participated in the implementation of a new charge nurse program. I helped roll out a new triage system at urgent care.
