I am a certified Child Passenger Safety Technician and Instructor working at the University of Vermont Medical Center. I have been the Child Passenger Safety Specialist there for over 7 years. I'm the President of the Safe Kids Vermont coalition and their Occupant Protection (a.k.a. Buckle Up) Coordinator. In 2022 I was selected by the Vermont Health Department's "Be Seat Smart" program as the Child Passenger Safety Champion of the Year. I have been on the Board of Directors for the Vermont Safety and Health Council since 1997, serving as secretary, website administrator, president, and treasurer, my current role. I'm a member of the American Society of Safety Professionals have received a Culbertson Award for service to the Society. Prior to entering the field of Child Passenger Safety, I worked for IBM from December 1981 through December 2015 and in the health & safety field for 30 of those 34 years.
