About Maureen Lagrande
Coming from a town with one blinking red light, the opportunity to live in San Luis Obispo and pursue a degree in agriculture is a dream come true. I am currently a second year Agricultural Communications major with a minor in Agricultural Leadership. I grew up on a sixth generation rice, almond and cattle ranch in Williams, California. By participating in the 4-H and FFA through out my younger years I developed a passion for advocating for the agriculture industry and have broadened my horizons while attending school. I am passionate about everything and anything agriculturally related. Through publications, photography and a strong media outreach I hope to one day help educate the general public and upcoming youth about all that the industry does for our world and how they to can help.
