About Maureen Lucci

My career path thus far has allowed me to work directly with students, administrators and business leaders. I have been fortunate to have had a variety of experiences that have required a variety of different skills and competencies. Working in the business sector gave me the opportunity to work with marketing and sales executives, gaining valuable insight into the sales process and customer service. Returning to the classroom has been a great experience for me professionally and personally. It has allowed me to spend more time with my children and family while touching the lives of many students and their families! I took over a long time preschool program while at Our Lady of Fatima School and had the privilege of starting a new preschool program at Saints Peter and Paul School now in its 12th year. The last 5 years I have taught in the 4th grade classroom. I enjoy working with the young students and their families and being in a Christian based school atmosphere. During my years spent in the educational software industry I assumed a number of increasingly more responsible roles, which developed a wide range of skills, abilities, and competencies. I spent time in school districts nationwide working with teachers and administrators on curriculum implementation and modeled effective teaching strategies. Over the course of my tenure my duties ranged from teaching and training internally and externally to delivering high-level presentations to planning, coordinating and facilitating meetings, seminars and conferences for groups that ranged in size from 20 to 300 people. I also developed a high level of comfort with common productivity software and Internet functions. The work required communicating effectively orally and in writing with a range of constituents in and outside the company.
