After a long career at MassHousing, in 2018 Maureen returned to her roots and passion in mortgage lending by helping buyers’ first-hand with their financing needs. She joined Fairway Independent Mortgage as a Senior Mortgage Advisor, partnering with Cheryl Smith and forming The Smith Moriarty Home Team, in the Norwell office. Since inception, The Smith Moriarty team has received the Fairway Chairman’s Club national award each year. Between 2019 and 2020 alone, their team helped over 300 household finance a home of their own, resulting over $120 million in first mortgage loan volume. Maureen provides her clients with a level of knowledge, experience, and an appreciation for customer service that is unparalleled. This combined with Fairway’s technology, product offerings, and communication tools provides her clients with a stress-free mortgage experience.
