About Maureen Murray

I’m an outreach educator with an unquenchable thirst for knowledge, a penchant for interdisciplinary pursuits, and a passion for student empowerment. Having recently completed an MA in Liberal Studies from Villanova University (with a strong focus on the humanities), I still spend my free time pursuing my academic passion projects, including- examining the nature of conflict and how to achieve peace and justice - exploring legacies of historical violence and how to address them in the classroom - researching the benefits of transitional justice to the field of history education I believe that learning is a lifelong pursuit and that education should be relevant, inquiry-driven, and geared towards empowering students to meet – and overcome – real-world challenges.
