Holder of a Bachelor in Business Management: Procurement, I am currently pursuing a Diploma in Purchasing and Supplies. I am also a member of the Kenya Institute of Supplies Management (KISM).CORE CONTRIBUTIONS AND ACHIEVEMENTS-• Initiated process improvements in reserving all staff travel and hotel bookings in advance to benefit from discounted fares and accommodation and introducing Little Cab Taxi Services for ground transport at reduced group costs, resulting in considerable savings. • Achieved minimal stock outs by maintaining the stock level days through effective records management and tracking of all stock movements on the ERP. • Maintained a database of vendors and conducted interviews and assessments increasing the number of vendors and renewing existing contracts enabling the organisation to negotiate preferential rates and payment terms and put in place Service Level Agreements (SLAs) that protected the organisation.• Facilitated the disposal of inventory in compliance with the Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Act, 2015, increasing revenues for the parastatal.
