About Mauricio Barrera
Passionate designer and environmental advocate. Since 2001 I have been involve with sustainable development. From 2003 to 2006 I attended Miami University and obtained my masters in architecture with emphasis in sustainable design. In 2007 I founded my own firm to advise companies that develop residential and commercial projects in how to achieve sustainable design, construction and operations. In the 14 years of the company we advised 49 projects from hospitals, strip malls, shopping centers, universities, office buildings, private buildings, residential units and warehouses. More than 4.9 million square feet of area that included smart lighting, eco-friendly materials, water saving systems, energy efficiency, construction material efficiency, reduced waste, less global warming impact and better foot prints. My DNA is green and I tackle very unique residential projects, I focus on a two decade idea and shift to a life long passion and focus on the development of unique, green, modern electrical power train yachts that can impact with their design and essence the cruising experience, the joy of life and the thought of work.
