As a Master Mariner and licensed GLPA Pilot (PM2), I bring over 15 years of global maritime experience, including 5+ years in senior command roles. Currently serving as Captain at McKeil Marine Limited, I am responsible for the safe and efficient operation of dry bulk carriers while ensuring compliance, safety, and operational excellence. My career spans a wide range of vessel types — general cargo, bulk carriers, cement carriers, tankers, articulated tug & barges, tugboats, and offshore DP vessels (AHTS, ROV support, supply) — across diverse regions including North America, Europe, the Caribbean, Pacific Ocean, and the Persian Gulf. I am a graduate of a recognized naval academy and hold a Master’s Degree in Maritime Management (Memorial University, Canada). Certified as a Master Mariner (STCW II/2) and Great Lakes Marine Pilot (Districts 1, 2, 3, Cornwall, and Lake Ontario), I am also trained and certified in SEN II, GOC/ROC-MC, and Bridge Resource Management, supported by valid Transport Canada Marine Medical certification with no limitations.
