Hi there! Thanks for visiting my page. I’m Mauricio Lopez C, a Chilean creative technologist, award-winning maker, and tireless promoter of immersive technologies with 20+ years in the field. 20+ years… How is that possible? Thanks to my visionary parents. Seriously, I got my first personal computer back in 1986. For Mauricio aged 7, that was a blast. Younger me found very quickly that DOING was cooler than just PLAYING. My interest in digital & interactive media grew even bigger when in 1997, aged 17, I tried my first VR experience (the legendary Dactyl Nightmare!) in Epcot Center, Florida, USA. It was simple in execution yet infinite in potential. Love at first sight. That was the moment I knew: IMMERSIVE IS MY LIFE. Today, I’m a proud founder of osoBorroso, an award-winning creative tech studio, developing world-class immersive experiences for global brands and massive events. Simply put, I work to provoke in people the same immersive-inspired WOW I had when I was a teenager… but now the tech is way more awesome and my users live all over the world.
