About Maurizia Grima

I have been working in the Insurance industry for the past 34 years. I started off my career from the basics, handling customers. However, as time went by I was able to take on more responsibility such as managing company corporate clients and managing a team of 6 people in the Personal Lines department (home and Motor Insurance). Being a people’s person, I took on the role of HR Manager. During this time, I had the opportunity to visit Argus HO in Bermuda where I worked with the HR team. HR gave me the opportunity to be close to the employees and handle different situations. I was also an Executive Assistant for our CE. During this time, I learned how to communicate with different entities and also attended seminars. When the company trusted me with the role of Quality Assurance Manager, I took the challenge and gave, and continue to give, my all into doing internal reviews. Presently in my role as a Compliance assistant I work together with our Compliance Officer and have meetings with intermediaries and brokers. Recommend how we can improve our present policies and procedures and also conduct training to both employees and intermediaries. I also take care of any complaints the Company receive. Although I love dealing with clients, I was always ready to take every challenge as my motto in life is to never let an opportunity go by you without taking it:) Always face the world with a smile :) When I'm not working, I am a fitness fanatic! Although I am not in my teens, I train and look for challenges in sport; the source of all my energy! Above all this, I am a wife and a mother and I strive to do my best to be there for my family despite my busy schedule! This is ME
