Special Projects • 2014: Worked with a team to create and then coordinate the various phases of development for the Entribù project This project was sponsored by the Verona Chamber of Commerce—Verona Innovation. Its aim was to match potential entrepreneurs with complementary skills and abilities, and it continues to do so. • 2013: Conceived of and coordinated the creation of the portal iBridge which matches the business needs of the companies close to Verona with the skills, knowledge and expertise of the academics and researchers at the University of Verona, based on the model of Crowdsourcing. The site still creates collaborations between Verona’s business and academic communities. • 2007: Designed a web application to configure VoIP communications software for connection to ERP systems and to facilitate customer use. The software was reviewed by Google engineers in 2009 • 2003: Created a “business matching” website for Italian and foreign businesses called Business-Italy.biz. Among the collaborations generated by the website were meetings for Italian entrepreneurs in Pakistan with companies invited by the Chambers of Commerce in Lahore and Peshawar, and a presentation at the Verona Marble Fair of Pakistani mining firms. The projected ended in 2005 because of the difficulties in monetising the business model. ASSOCIATIONS Confindustria Verona o 2011-2014: Vice president of Young Members (Gruppo Giovani) charged with innovation management. o 2013: Created and organised a Silicon Valley Study Tour, 10 days of meetings with high-level management in Google, Apple, LinkedIn, PayPal, Rock-etSpace and Spotify. Metropol Cultural Association (2014-present): Founder and president of cultural association that manages the arthouse cinema in Villafranca di Verona. The Association also organises cinematic events such as dialogs with directors and actors and cinema history courses and discussion groups.
