About Maury Siddons

Mr. Siddons is currently a Field Support Technologist with the Government of Alberta, in the Calgary District. He works with the MCI in administering the Maintenance Contractor's activities for the area south of Calgary. He has returned to the area where he started his career in Transportation back in 1985. Mr. Siddons was a Senior Design and Drafting Technician. He has over 29 years of highway construction experience in design and drafting, surveying, and survey data processing. He is highly proficient with the latest modelling earthwork design and drafting software including AutoCAD, AutoCAD Land Development Desktop, AutoCAD Civil 3D, EMXS, and MicroStation, and he has an excellent understanding of road design and quantity calculations Mr. Siddons provides the following technical design and drafting support for the survey crews during the construction season-Data processing for interim quantity payments -Layout information for intersections, right-of-way, and fencing for highway projects -Final quantity calculations for final payment to contractors including main alignment and borrow pits -Generation of contour plans, sections, profiles, site plans, and earthwork data for other Tetra Tech groups -Utility coordinator for all Alberta Transportation projects undertaken through Calgary office
