About Mawa Alex

I am a graduate of Public Health from Cavendish University, Uganda, also have Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Public Health ( Dip-CMPH) at National health institute (NHI) Maridi, South Sudan. Currently I am perusing Masters' of public health with specialization in Maternal and child health (on going) from James Lind Institute, Switzerland, Geneva. I have Twelve (12) years of extensive experience, in program management including planning implementation, monitoring, evaluation, data analysis and reporting. In Addition, have excellent knowledge and skills in proposal development and program budget management including personnel management. I have worked with different International and National Organization in South Sudan including Norwegian People's Aid, CMS Ireland, Abt Associates Inc, IMA world health, Relief international and African Relief and Development Foundation among others. I have experience in strategic Coordination and collaboration, Community base programming, expert in both health and nutrition programming and many others. In the past twelve (12) years, I have attained wider experience in leading an program majorly with focus on the following thematic areas: Health, Nutrition and WASH. Currently I am working for Relief international as Health program Manager, Managing UNICEF world bank project in Longechuk and Maiwut Counties of Upper Nile and SSHF multi-sectoral project for Nasir leading health sector
