About Max Allwood

I am a film and TV professional with a filmmaking degree from Northern Film School and a passion for education and development. I currently work as a film and TV teacher at Weekend Academy, where I teach young people the basics of film and TV production, from scriptwriting to editing. I also work as a development researcher at Boom Cymru, one of ITV Studios' esteemed labels, where I support the development team with generating and pitching ideas for factual and entertainment programmes.In my previous role as a development trainee at ITV Studios, I was selected as a member of the inaugural cohort of the ITV Studios Development Trainee Programme, where I received regular training and on-the-job experience that enhanced my development skills. I also gained valuable insights into the TV industry and the creative process. I have a keen eye for content creation and Instagram analytics, as well as attention to detail and emotional intelligence. I am motivated by creating engaging and impactful stories that resonate with diverse audiences and reflect the changing world. I believe I can bring a fresh and innovative perspective to any team, as well as a collaborative and supportive attitude.
