As of 2023 I have pursued my lifelong thrill of research and in my retirement decade have uncovered some noteworthy developments: 1. Gas chromatographic method that yields cyanoacrylate purity in a classical sharp single peak instead of the present “interpretive” methods. Traction device for consumers that is used during sleep for body aches and pains including sciatica. A patent pending approach that answers the reasons why Fallopian sterilization has and will fail as noted by Bayer, Hologic and others. A patent granted to address respiratory problems. This was the result of a couple of decades of warding off colds and flus. My mechanical interests solved the problem of rope engine crankshaft seal leaks: a notable procedure eliminating the need to extract a V12 from the engine bay. This involved a design employing a high temperature resistant Viton elastomer. Cyanoacrylate chemistry. This includes fundamental research, design, fabrication, and construction. Completed (2005) one of four of these facilities for the production of a medical device formula for surgical and topical consumer uses. Subsequently infused with venture funding and is now Adhezion Biomedical under new management. After seven years of heading the Femasys technology, now retired (by Social Security definition) and refocusing on new topical adhesives at AZ Laboratories. New products under development including a unique patent pending product and device intended to improve on the performance and application of topical surgical adhesives and devices presently in the market.
