That glass ceiling that I keep bumping my head on is starting to get really tiring. I caught the silicon valley bug back in NY when my friend got me a job with GoPago, a local mobile app startup. Ever since I have been sick with the startup fever. I even moved out to the Bay Area to finally realize my dream. After almost two years out here and just staying afloat, it is time to break shatter that glass ceiling. I am the ideal age to acquire funding and guidance from Y Combinator. I think that they could give us the footing we need to succeed. The truth of the matter though is I don't want to just hire a programmer that is not passionate about the product. I want to find a partner who actually has a vested interest in the project. I can safely say that I am interested in being part of the Y Combinator Machine. I have a serious concept that I have been kicking around and developing conceptually for several years and I am at a point where I want to realize my dream. It hits many major points on today's hotpoint spectrum. I have developed mobile applications before on the graphics end for GoPago, an app for the iPhone etc. It is pretty amazing to see a startup actually get realized. Isn't it time that we realize our own? Conceptually the idea bridges the gap between social media and health+fitness+beauty. Our country is so fixated on these topics. On aesthetic and superficiality as well as physical well being. My concept takes all of these factors and turns them into a profitable business that benefits us, our clients and business partners as well as the end consumer. Needless to say I have lofty dreams. Who is in it with me is the question?
