Senior data scientist in Trust & Safety at Canva, where I work on content moderation, AI safety, AI bias, account safety, bot attacks, and stopping bot scraping. I am a 'flexible' data scientist, happy to work on data analysis & visual storytelling or production-grade machine learning and engineering. I also enjoy T&S-specific work such as abuse investigations, labelling quality reviews, or developing content policy. I'm excited about the opportunities (and challenges!) of working in Trust & Safety, which motivated a shift from working in Ecosystem at Atlassian after an enjoyable few years. I care about whether my work has a net positive impact not only on the company's users, but also society at large.
