About Max Drexler

Hey, I'm Max! I’m a recent graduate from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where I completed a double major in Computer Science and Spanish. Currently, I’m working as a programmer at the Space Science and Engineering Center, focusing on real-time stream data processing and distributed systems with Python and RabbitMQ. A noteworthy project involved developing a distributed data pipeline that efficiently extracts metadata from 3TB of weather forecast files per day and integrates it into a database for efficient access.I’m particularly interested in leveraging cloud and data-driven tools like Delta Lake for future projects and am eager to contribute my expertise in a full-time engineering role. Outside of my technical pursuits, I enjoy learning new languages and playing ultimate frisbee.
