About Max Eismann

My expertise lies in analytical chemistry with special emphases in process optimization and automatization. In my day-to-day work I am confronted with challenges around the following areas- Analysis of fruit and vegetables in all its facets (this includes sample management and preparation, actual analysis via LC-MS/MS, GC-MS/MS or HPLC-UV measurement systems and the following result evaluation and validation process)- Software validation, support/maintenance and development for several LIMS/laboratory programs (such as result evaluation tools for (semi)automatic result evaluation, tools for (semi)automatic sequence generation or a program for documentation and label generation of the sample preparation step in the laboratory)- Quality control and management (method ring tests, quality management handbook, SOPs and so on)- Training and offering advice to entrants Since I am employed at Eurofins Dr. Specht Laboratories - one of the leading pesticide laboratories in the world - I have to keep the high standard and throughput of the laboratory in mind at all times. Therefore, my work stands out through its great usability and speed as well as its compliance with regulations such as the DIN ISO 17025. I am also an enthusiast of the LEAN philosophy and its principles and try to incorporate them in my day-to-day work.
