About Max Ferris

My name is Max Ferris and I graduated with a degree in business administration from the University of Texas at Dallas. I found my love for business management at my former job where I have learned the balance between satisfying customers and capitalizing on sales. I am currently in a position which helps me better understand supply chain management at my current job. I am excited to take the knowledge I have gained from schooling, as well as my work experience, into the business world to help companies innovate and better serve their customers. I spent the first part of my college career at Collin College where I obtained my Associate of Science. I am now an undergrad student at the University of Texas at Dallas where I plan to obtain my Bachelor in Business administration, then pursue a graduate degree in business. During my time in college I have worked at Lowe's Home Improvement where I was promoted to a management position within my first year of employment. I have moved on from that position in a quest to increase my knowledge and experience in this ever-expanding business world. • I began in the workplace as a cook and cashier and Raising Cane's where I opened a store and became the first employee there to become proficiently trained in the kitchen and on the front register. • I then took a position as a cashier at Lowe's Home Improvement. In less than 9 months I was promoted to a lower level management position as a head cashier. In this position I have gained a plethora of management and problem solving knowledge and experience. • After moving on from that position, I took a role which allows me to gain experience and knowledge of the business world outside of retail. • I have graduated Collin College with my Associate of Science. • I have graduated University of Texas at Dallas with my Bachelors of Science in Business Administration
