About Max Guhl

Where should the cloud go – when trust, compliance, and long-term thinking matter most? I work with decision-makers in regulated industries to shape cloud strategies that are secure, compliant, and sustainable. In many of these sectors – such as public services, healthcare or financial institutions – cloud adoption comes with questions beyond technology: How do we maintain control and compliance while embracing flexibility? What does “digital sovereignty” mean for our infrastructure decisions? How do we align our cloud journey with business goals and regulatory boundaries? These are not one-size-fits-all questions. My role is to support CIOs and digital leaders in navigating these decisions with clarity and confidence. Over the past decade, I’ve helped organizations develop realistic, forward-looking cloud strategies – from early assessments to governance models and vendor decisions. I bring in-depth experience in sovereign cloud architectures, modern migration programs, and strategic ecosystem building – including public-private collaborations. At adesso, I contribute to large-scale transformation programs with a focus on digital sovereignty, especially in highly regulated markets. I act as a partner at eye level – not just for solving problems, but for asking the right questions early on.
