About Max Jasper

Max is a Senior Manager in the Professional Practice Group. He started his career in the audit practice and transitioned to the IT Assurance team, where he continued to focus on performing audits for public and non-public companies. Since 2011, Max has practiced public accounting with a focus on technology and manufacturing industries. As a team member on public company audits, his work is subject to annual PCAOB inspection. Max was awarded the Moss Adams Technical Excellence Award in 2022. His specific experience includes the following: · Planning and executing financial statement audits for public and non-public technology and manufacturing companies, including planning, compliance testing, supervision, and report preparation. · Performing and documenting testing of control design and control operating effectiveness, consulting with clients on controls design and operation, and identifying improvement opportunities for business process and IT controls. · Reviewing engagement quality as part of the internal inspection team for public and non-public company audits. · Participating on the IT Assurance Methodology Team, which is assigned to review PCAOB Firm Inspection Reports and internal inspection results and recommend changes in Moss Adams assurance methodology. · Teaching assurance methodology courses at the annual Moss Adams Assurance Professional Conferences. · Implementations of SOX and internal controls over financial reporting with a focus on IT general controls, automated controls, and information produced by the entity.
