About Max Jensen

As a Fourth-Year student at the University of Virginia, I am pursuing a BA in Global Studies with a focus on the Middle East and South Asia, and a minor in Public Policy and Leadership. I am passionate about the intersections between public policy, international affairs, and the law. I have gained valuable experience in the nonprofit and political consulting fields through my internships at The Borgen Project and Crossroads Campaigns. At The Borgen Project, I advocated for poverty reduction legislation to Congressional staffers in my state and district, and raised funds and awareness for the cause. At Crossroads Campaigns, I conducted political research for the company's clients in various sectors, and created engaging content for their email and social media platforms. I have developed strong problem-solving, writing, and leadership skills through these roles, as well as through my involvement in college activities, such as serving as class Treasurer, President of Survivor at UVA, and contributing to The Cavalier Daily.
