About Max Kroell

I have a solid background in strategy and business development. Speak German, French, English, Italian, Indonesian and very rusty Mandarin. I have an MBA from INSEAD. and a MSc in finance/new media from the Vienna School of Economics. Worked in fast-paced environments ranging from start-ups in travel, fashion & hospitality, a strategy consultancy, and a large multi-national. Currently I look after two companies in France. Before that, I was in various roles at Sodexo - most recently as Director of Business Transformation. Prior to that, I was the founder of a platform which organized food-events in Shanghai and Operations Director for a fashion start-up in New York. Max started his career as a strategy consultant at The Boston Consulting Group (BCG). He is passionate about product management, strategy, and digital marketing. Max is always interested in meeting like-minded professionals! Key skills- change & team management: he has successfully led growth & restructuring initiatives in various companies with team size ranging from 3 to ~50 people, incl. P&L responsibilities- influencing & persuasion: he has managed negotiations in major corporate transformations, in the creation of new partnerships, as well as in new client acquisition- analytics: designed financial models for large corporations & start-ups- international mindset: worked full-time in 7 countries across 3 continents and speak 6 languages.
