About Max Lafavour

I am a Cal Poly SLO graduate with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Minor in Environmental studies. My goal is to utilize my natural curiosity, creativity, and drive to learn along with my experience in design and manufacturing to make the world a better place. I am currently working as a Mechanical Engineer at ETM Electromagnetic Inc. designing parts and systems for RF systems as well as testing parts and developing assembly and test procedures. As a founding member of the Iota Chi chapter of Alpha Sigma Phi at Cal Poly, I have had the opportunity to further develop my leadership abilities as well as honing my interpersonal skills. I enjoy working with my hands fixing and modifying cars, as well as welding and carpentry. I love spending time outdoors hiking, skiing, surfing, playing soccer, and traveling. In my last few years in college, I developed an interest in DJing and music production as another outlet for my creativity.
