About Max Luijten

After finishing my master's degree in operation management and logistics at the Technical University of Eindhoven I started working as an interim professional for DPA Supply Chain & Logistics. After I found my place at VDL Bus & Coach I made the switch to work directly for VDL. About me: As a person, I feel comfortable in both a team setting and functioning independently. I like working with lots of different people and helping out whenever I can. I am friendly and like to make jokes to keep things light. I enjoy working in multicultural, multilingual teams. In my free time, I spend a lot of time reading, listening to music, and socializing with friends. For sports, I run and hike, go to the gym, and play the occasional game of squash. I love traveling and adventures in general, I still have the dream to complete a cycling trip to Hongkong that we had to cut off early. Skills: I am competent in working both independently and in a team setting. I am flexible, curious, and eager to learn. I am comfortable with lots of data analysis software (Excell, PowerBI, Rstudio) and have decent coding skills in Python. On top of that, I am quite tech-savvy, and I am confident that it will not take long to get to know and use new software/programs. Vision: During my studies, I have followed multiple subjects on sustainability which I hope to someday apply in order to translate my skills into real change in the industry. Besides that, I am always learning and improving and hope to make the most out of my career.
