About Max Michael

I am a multi-instrumentalist turned Software Developer. Whether on back-end, front-end, or full-stack, I have thoroughly enjoyed the constant puzzle that is learning the wide world of coding, just as I have enjoyed delving into the deeper levels of music theory and jazz. I have thoroughly enjoyed changing fields from grocery store and restaurant jobs, to the IT field. It is an everchanging industry, that I have taken pleasure in diving into. In working at my first job as a software developer I have learned so much about not just software development, but how it fits into the business as a whole. In addition to software development, I have taken the lead role as our companies "Test Department", of which I am the only member. I have had to curate a testing process for our end product, which is testing not just software, but firmware and hardware. I work hand in hand across multiple departments and supervisors, ensuring that we meet critical deadlines for our contracts. As I enjoy wearing multiple hats in my previous jobs, this hybrid position has been a perfect fit for me. Whether its debugging software, firmware, or working with our engineers to find hardware issues, I have brought great value to the company in this previously unestablished role. In my free time, I enjoy playing music, and spending time with my dog Tallulah, and my two cats Mishka and Wonton.
