About Max Rawlins

In 2021, I completed my BA(hons) in Politics, Philosophy and Economics at the University of Sussex.• My Batchelor's thesis addressed contradictions between increasingly orthodoxical neuroscientific research and the core assumptions of our criminal justice system, which received a first class grade.In 2022, I completed my MA in Geopolitics and International Relations with distinction.• My Master's thesis evaluated the impact and efficacy of international economic sanctions implemented against the Russian Federation since its invasion of Ukraine in 2022. This too received a distinction.• Alongside postgraduate study, I joined the parliamentary office of former Secretary of State for Education Gillian Keegan MP. I worked in an impartial capacity, drafting correspondence, conducting data input and assisting with political communications.In 2023, I spent six months solo-travelling through Latinoamérica. I attended IMAC language school to learn Spanish while living in Guadalajara, Mexico.• Upon my return, I have joined Hanbury Strategy - a political strategic advisory firm. At Hanbury, we offer clients the tools to navigate the UK's complex political and media ecology and the associated challenges that come with it.
