About Max Roach

I have been dedicated to education since and my journey has been both unexpected and deeply fulfilling. Over the years, I have held a diverse range of roles, including first-grade teacher, adjunct professor of education, high school learning specialist, department head, director of Schools Attuned/dean of teaching and learning, upper school director, and head of school. Beyond my work in schools, I have contributed to the field at a national level, serving as both a faculty member and advisor for the All Kinds of Minds Institute. Outside of my professional life, I am grateful for my wonderful family—my wife and our four incredible boys. Together, we embrace an active, outdoor lifestyle filled with hiking, rock climbing, camping, biking, and motorcycling. My professional goal is simple: to deliver excellence in every organization I serve. The results achieved by the teams I've worked with speak for themselves. Martial Arts: More than 20 years of training in traditional Japanese martial arts, specializing in Aikido ("the way of harmony") and Iaido ("the way of meeting one's existence").
