About Max Robinson

My retail experience goes just a bit beyond 11 years now. When I first started I was a seasonal sales associate at Gamestop in 2012. I then worked my way up the management ladder and eventually found my way to being a store manager in 2017-2018. Here I learned what it meant to be a go getter, have a positive attitude in a metrics driven environment and build a sale on customer satisfaction. I then ventured into my next position at Hot Topic as a part time assistant manager in 2019 after taking a bit of time off. I was then prompted to Full Time ASM in 2020 during the Covid Era and I held that position for 2 years before becoming the Store Manager of the Orland Park Hot topic. As of right now I am currently learning about business acumen, conversion strategies and working under pressure in an ever fluctuating market. I truly believe that having a team of like minded individuals who can see eye to eye is much better than having multiple superstars who can't get along. Be the employee you would seek if you were to walk into your store for the first time.
