Currently I work as a river and coastal EIT at Baird & Associates in Oakville, Ontario. At Baird, I have worked on a range of projects including numerical and physical modelling for shoreline protection, beach nourishment, water resources planning, and flood studies. In the past, I have also worked as a project coordinator (heavy civil) and junior construction estimator. At Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, I completed a BASc in Civil Engineering and a MASc in hydrotechnical / river engineering. My research, through a series of laboratory experiments, looked at the effects of ice-covers on stream hydraulics and their effects on alternate bar geometry, a type of river bedform.
