About Max Semyz

I am a PMP certified IT Project Manager with a master degree in engineering and by now 19 years of professional experience in IT. Having started my career as a QA with every next step I embraced new horizons in both technical and management knowledge domains, consistently growing and embarking on new opportunities, delivering value for the company and the customers. On my current position as a Project Manager I am driving multinational and cross-location teams with successful project delivery history for 8 years. I have participated in pre-sales, pitches and feasibility studies for potential customers as a PMO expert for the past five years. For those opportunities that were won, I assisted in team setup as a technical and management interviewer, having interviewed more than candidates and building several successful teams. Working with my teammates I apply servant leadership model, bridging the gaps and removing impediments for the team and the project to succeed. Being a client facing team member throughout my career I am proficient in communication and stakeholder management. I was lucky to gain hands on experience in managing projects with predictive and adaptive methodologies. Talking about my business domain knowledge I can mention a massive experience in investment banking, financial transactions and retail banking IT businesses, having completed some high complexity and mission critical projects, delivering custom built client-server applications (both browser and mobile) to world’s top tier Investment and Retail banks in time and on budget.
