As a software engineer at Macy's, I developed features for a real-time, algorithm-based solution that optimized the fulfillment locations for customer orders. I also migrated on-prem services to the cloud using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) apps, improving data reliability and accuracy. I led the design and organization of work for switching the application's data source from Redis and GCP Datastore to MongoDB, enhancing data continuity. I contributed to feature enhancements that saved the business $4 million in the busy holiday season. Before joining Macy's, I was a technical consultant and a software developer at NCR Corporation, where I gained experience in retail and fuel solutions, agile project management, and quality assurance. I was a founding member of a team that created a new module connecting a polling solution with a fuel solution for a major retailer. I also developed and tested features for a loyalty module that was nearing pilot for a large fuel provider.
