I'm a data science leader with over 8 years of industry experience in tech, where I've consistently delivered fundamental technology and practical successes for growing, fast-paced organizations. I am passionate about science and its rapidly evolving interface with machine learning and computational systems. I seek to help growing organizations in the drug discovery space build effective and transformative technology, with the end goal of improving medicine and the standard of care. I received my Ph.D. in Evolutionary Genomics from the University of Chicago in 2017, and have worked for four different technology organizations in a number of different capacities (both as team lead and individual contributor) following my academic career. Through these experiences I've developed a product-focused approach-starting with the end goals of the organization in mind, then working collaboratively to define and execute on a feasible vision with determination. Lastly, my clear communication skills help me bring critical results & insights to scientific teams and executive management alike, aligning different members of the organization to a common goal.
