About Max Zuang

During my studies at the ETH, I worked in the AMZ racing team. In my first year I developed the accumulator for our racing car, including its cooling system and the state of charge estimation. In my second year I was head of the batteries department and developed a laptime simulation. In the third year I was CTO and head of the controls department. In the same year I developed in my semester thesis a new hydraulic control valve for an active suspension system. After finishing my work with the AMZ racing team I started an internship at Paul Wurth, where I investigated an energy recovery system for the hot stoves. In my last year at the ETH I finished my work on the laptime simulation as part of my master thesis and helped organizing the Formula Student Switzerland event as chief of design. My main task was to organize the engineering design event, where students will show their racing vehicle design and answer questions to a team of engineers. After my graduation I started my first full time job at TMT Luxembourg as R&D engineer.
