Chief of Party | Conflict Minerals | Community Stabilization | Disarmament & Reintegration KEY QUALIFICATIONS Led over 14 regional, national, and international projects that secured socio-economic development in post-conflict communities, including the elimination of child labour, sex trafficking, conflict minerals, illegal mining, and food insecurity in programme areas. Developed projects and programmes that provided alternative, legal livelihoods to over households, reduced illegal migration, provided trade opportunities, certified conflict-free mining sites, improved public health, trained hundreds of ministry officials, and reintegrated over 1,200 ex-combatants into their communities. Coordinated regional and international efforts to combat the trade of conflict and illicit minerals in the Great Lakes Region of Africa and Central Africa, establishing conflict-free supply chains for over 500 Tin, Tungsten, Tantalum (3Ts), gold, and diamond artisanal small-scale mines. Managed multi-million dollar projects ensuring fiscal responsibility and on-budget project delivery in high-risk and conflict-affected countries. Mitigated risk through the development of security protocols, conducting thorough risk assessments, sharing information with local, national, and international counterparts, and training staff for a culture of safety. Raised over $40 million to fund community stabilization programmes, border management, policing, and post-conflict reintegration. Developed strategies and workplans to meet programme objectives while integrating local communities and regional stakeholders.
